Spotify, YouTube, Pandora, and now SoundCloud.  It’s evident that, nowadays, playing music on iTunes is people’s last resort when looking for new jams.  I have recently found a new love for SoundCloud.  I’ve known about the website for some time (as you can tell from previous posts), but had never really used it up until recently.  One thing I’ve found is that SoundCloud is the haven of techno and house remixes.  So, obviously, I love it.

SoundCloud allows users to digitally stream tracks they upload and then share them with the online community.  These tracks can simply be copies of already released tracks, or in most cases, have the user’s original spin on the track.  This can mean the song is either remixed or covered.  SoundCloud is basically YouTube minus the videos.  But, there are so many more exciting features to the website.

That's right bitches... it's time for a celebration

This has been a fantastic couple of weeks for Jerk and SU. We trounced ‘nova, got that unofficial policy on distribution repealed, survived the snowpacalypse hype (and got a snowday)…etc. etc. While well aware of all the shitty goings on in the world as a whole (seriously guys, Pandora will never exist *sob*), we decided to celebrate the good this week. (Side note: Bitch editor Kevin Eggleston REALLY likes to celebrate.)

By this point in time, you’ve surely been acquainted with Apple’s new in devours in the female hygiene market with its latest in “game-changing” technology, the iPad. If you haven’t seen one yet, be sure to visit Apple’s website for images and videos. Or, if that’ too much work for you, grab a friend’s iPod Touch and look at it under a magnifying glass. Ta-da it’s the future! Yeah right. Go back into hibernation, Steve Jobs.

For us self-proclaimed Apple enthusiasts, there has been a lot of disappointment about the new iPad and Internet users have been quick to respond. From across the World Wide Web, I am proud to introduce you to the truth about the iPad, or, as many Twitter users like to refer to it, the “iTampon.”
