“I see it. I like it. I make it.”

This is the motto of Erica Domesek’s incredibly fabulous blog, P.S. – I Made This… She is a recognized DIY design and style expert, who makes many unique and fashion-related objects, such as necklaces, handbags and living decorations. Domesek’s creations not only include every day, usable items but also step-by-step instructions on how to make your own designs.

This blog is very inspirational in the sense that it makes you motivated to to be creative and crafty with your own hands. It is especially encouraging for those who are fond of fashion, lifestyle and anything visual. You can also purchase her book “P.S. – I Made This,” which was published in 2010 and features more than 25 of her distinguished projects.

See it, you will love it and you will definitely want to make it!

Since Hedi Slimane left fashion in 2007, every few years there are whispers ofĀ his return. For what he brought to the industry, he iconized himself in less than aĀ decade. Subsequently, he took his love for photography and made it his full-timeĀ creative outlet.

Slimane is someone who has vision because he laces everything he does with hisĀ character. When he started his online photography diary, HEDI SLIMANE DIARY, itĀ became clear that it was still him. There is such ease in his transitions, from fashionĀ to images, everything is seamless.

This week, his first West Coast solo exhibition, ā€˜California Songā€™ opened at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art. Slimane hasĀ often said that California, particularly Los Angeles, has greatly influenced him inĀ his work. In his latest interview with the New York Times, he speaks of his first time inĀ LA and feeling immediately at home. It only makes sense that his first exhibit wouldĀ be a tribute to Cali: (more…)

The Kardashians are fashion; they get it. You can tell this by the presence of KhloĆ©Ā on E!ā€™s Fashion Police (the ultimate in fashion authorities), Kimā€™s constant presenceĀ at fashion shows and collaborative lines and now through their handbag collection.Ā Theyā€™re untouchable.

Well, one of the funny things about being a deity in virtually all fashion designĀ (shoes, bags, garments, accessories, you name it) is critique. Being at the top meansĀ you have a lot of haters.

One of my favorite segments on is the ā€œAdventures in Copyright.ā€ The staff will usually bring up copyright claims where lawsuits have been filed orĀ simply just instances of intense ā€˜inspiration.ā€™Ā This week, they noticed an incredibleĀ similarity between the new Kardashian bag collection and bags from other less notableĀ brands like Balenciaga, YSL, Celine and Chanel. Obviously, the issue here is that theseĀ brands have been too intensely inspired by Kim and the gang.
