My last post about guiltless beverages covered booze. This time, I’m talking about my other guilty pleasure: Starbucks. Let’s be real. Despite Starbuck’s ridiculous prices, it’s pretty damn tasty. I only let myself splurge on it once a week, but it takes a lot of self-control to veer away from the green awning as I’m walking down Marshall Street.

Did you know that a Grande Iced Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha has 520 calories, 71 grams of sugar, and 13 grams of saturated fat?  Holy shit! You might as well go to McDonalds, buy a double cheeseburger, and cover it in handfuls of sugar. Literally. They are pretty much from the same calorie-saturated womb.

But don’t fear! You can still enjoy Starbucks without feeling like a McFatty. Starbucks has a list of beverages with fewer than 200 calories. My favorite is the Caramel Frappuccino Light Blended Coffee, but check out the list and try them for yourself. Shots up! (Espresso shots, that is…)
