Have you ever wished that you were so good at something that it was blatantly obvious what you were supposed to do with your life? Welcome to my life.

In the movie August Rush, it is clear that August is meant to create music from the second his tiny, newborn fingers wave in the air as if they are conducting the lullaby playing in the nursery.

I guess prodigies are just lucky like that. Us “normal” people would be lucky enough to get into Julliard or compose our own rhapsody when we are fully-grown, let alone when we were only 11 years old. (more…)
