Jay-Z Writes Memoir, Forces World to Read

Jay-Z came up with a most interesting ad campaign for his biography Decoded. His new book hits stands Tuesday, but for the last few weeks sneak-peaks popped up all over New York, L.A., New Orleans, Miami, and London. Copy from the book appeared in related areas: billboards, at the bottom of a hotel pool, even in the lining of a Gucci jacket.

As for finding the pages, Microsoft  set up a page on Bing revealing the location of the advertisements. Clues are also up on Jay-Z’s Facebook, Twitter, and official Web site. And if you aren’t in a major city, you can still find the ads through a virtual map. It’s like a 3D, online version of hot and cold!
