Don’t get me wrong, I was pumped for The Oscars as I always am, and by all means the nominees were all worthy contenders. But as I watched this years’ red carpet coverage, my attention couldn’t help but stray towards a more hilarious and brutally honest award show.
That’s why the 2010 Razzies have my attention, giving us the worst of the year in film is just way more entertaining. I think that anything that honors losers is a great thing. Besides, aren’t you sick of hearing how amazing Avatar is? Even better is I almost always agree with the Razzie’s choice. Just look at some of this year’s winners: worst actor, or actors I should say, all three Jonas Brothers for their groundbreaking role in “Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience.” A lot of attention has been payed to Sandra Bullock for gracefully and graciously accepting her award for worst actress in “All About Steve” and I must agree, it was just painful.
My personal favorites, however, were the prestigious awards of Worst Actor of the Decade, going to Eddie Murphy for his many failed attempts over the past few years, and Worst Actress of the Decade to Paris Hilton for virtually every attempt at acting she has ever made. Congrats to all our esteemed winners.
