Let me be clear, the games I mentioned earlier are generally not played at this event. Rather, games, such as “Dominion,” “Ingenious” and “Settlers of Catan,” are featured on the list of games to be played at this year’s WBC. These games may not be relevant in popular culture, but at WBC these games actually attract a relatively large audience.
Despite the event being called a “championship,” WBC isn’t all about competition. In fact, it’s mostly about having fun. There are also introductory sessions and open play to familiarize new players.
