Naomi Campbell is infamous for assaulting various individuals with an array of mobile devices. But last week the supermodel turned activist was all up in the media for a more positive reason. Campbell successfully organized the Fashion for Relief charity catwalk show that went down on February 12th in Bryant Park to raise money for the reconstruction effort in Haiti.

The diva enlisted good pals Diane von Furstenberg and Marisa Berenson to take part in the show and the looks were all put together by celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe. Marc Jacobs even created a special Louis Vuitton handbag for the cause, which will be sold along with other items on the Net-A-Porter website March 15th with all proceeds going to the organization CARE.

To the surprise of the audience, the finale of the Relief show became a tribute to the late and great Alexander McQueen (may he rest in peace). Daphne Guinness led the way and was followed by several other models, Naomi included, wearing looks from Alexander McQueen’s Spring 2010 collection. Check out the whole show and the emotional ending–Naomi gets pretty teary-eyed, I guess divas can show other emotions besides rage.
